Mode Boutique

More and more, Utah County proves itself as a shopping destination for Salt Lakers, when it used to be the other way around. Hip-to-the-hop Mode boutique on Center Street in Provo is no exception, and is certain to make its mark on commuter patterns.
Mode oozes with urban appeal and semi-European chic, mixed with some eclectic vintage and homemade flair. From colorful bangles and cheeky clip-on earrings to modern trivets, graphic notebooks and bright wrist wallets and beyond (European sneakers, one-of-a-kind cufflinks, fedora hats, etc.), Mode offers a little something for everyone.
We’re especially fond of the inventory of more substantial items like hard-to-find and reasonably-priced denim from Nudie Jeans, Cheap Monday and James Jeans. Racks are also stocked with cool, printed jersey knits and jackets for men and women from lines like Modern Amusement and Gentle Fawn. Mode also keeps a noteworthy selection of classic sneakers in stock.

But topping it all of is Mode’s T-shirt bar. That’s right, T-shirt bar. Mode shoppers go “a la Mode” by selecting an American Apparel tee and choosing from loads of modern transfers (some from Bang-On) to make truly one-of-a-kind tops. Or, you can bring in your own favorites that are transfer-ready: denim jackets, hoodies, messenger bags, etc. Adult T-shirts are $15, and transfers range from $5-$10.50.
And from a store that’s full of hip personality, you don’t get any attitude. Mode’s people are nice and friendly, even if they are cooler than us.
