A Different Repro Depot
A photograph is worth a thousand words. Actually, they’re probably worth much more than that. But, right now, you can snatch up your own little masterful moment-in-time for somewhere around $29 to $99.
If you’re looking to give your walls some soul or stories of their own (well, almost), check out West Elm’s second series of reproduction prints, this time created by artists at the Savannah College of Design.
Because these prints have been produced in limited quantities, they still retain some one-of-a-kind artistic flavor, which makes them cooler than cheaper options at Ikea. Plus, these are from truly legitimate art folks who snap photos for the sake of art only. Not for the sake of wall art only. There’s a definite difference. (We love you too, wall art, just not in the same way.)
There are cute-to-look-at prints of flowers and petals, but we’re sold on Miia Herbert’s Holga-captured “Fog” and Mark Mahaney’s “3 Minutes in the Middle of Nowhere“–which not only embrace old-fashioned camera techniques but truly appeal to the inner escapist. They’re the kinds of images you might want to crawl inside of, or look at for a long, long time. Like real art.
Take a look at the “gallery” here, and then maybe carry a piece “home” with you. For a limited time.

Hey! I just purchased the set of 3, nest, beads,+feather, at my local West Elm store, and I couldn’t be more pleased. There’s something about all their prints that make you want to know just a little bit more. Like, what’s their story? Everything has a good story. That 3 minutes in the middle of nowhere one is mesmerizing.
