Ben’s Cookies

What British shop does Utah have that no other state does? That’s right, it’s Ben’s Cookies. With this taste and quality, we wouldn’t care if they were Bartholomew’s Cookies, or Horace’s Cookies or even Eugene’s Cookies. We’d still come back for more.
With nine locations in the UK, Ben’s Cookies has yet to expand stateside. For now, it’s just the Beehive State and the Motherland. Lucky for us. These (usually) warm, gooey, sizeable cookies come in a handful of flavors like cranberry, hazelnut and milk chocolate; lemon; oatmeal and raisin; orange and milk chocolate; and double chocolate chunk. (We like the snickerdoodle, and the milk chocolate with its big, chocolate chunk at the center.) Plus, they’re baked fresh throughout the day in a special oven that keeps ‘em tough on the outside, and soft in the center.

Located at the Gateway, you can pop into Ben’s next time you’re headed to the mall. You’ll pay $8.75 per pound, or approx $1.65 per cookie. These are hefty little guys.
p.s. No offense to any Bartholomews, Horaces or Eugenes out there.

My favorite is the pumpkin chocolate cookie, and I hate that it’s only seasonal. I’d eat that year-round. You can buy their dough to freeze, so I’ve been considering just stocking up on the dough this fall.

Ben’s cookies are delicious, but maybe I’m in the minority with the gooey center part….seems a bit uncooked to me. They’re still delicious, but sometimes I bring them home & put them in the microwave for a few seconds….this serves 2 purposes. 1. cooks the center a bit more and 2. warms them up for that just out of the oven taste.

love Ben’s- it’s my neighbor and friends company… so glad you featured them! the same people who do ben’s cookies also sell an amazing whole grain brownie and pancake mix at select grocery stores- Kodiak Cakes is what they are called. It’s the best “healthy” chocolate brownie I’ve ever had!!

I honestly dream about these. Have you had them piping hot fresh?! That’s one of the only things I will allow a burned mouth for.
