Sampled: Granato’s

Granato's

Sampled: Italian Combo sandwich: Italian dry salami, genoa, oil and vinegar, cooked sausage, lettuce, tomato and provolone on soft ciabatta

Where: Granato’s Importing Co. (4044 S. 2700 East, Holladay)

High & Low: This ‘wich is made so fresh and with such high-quality meats—not to mention cheese—that you can’t give it anything but an “A.” It’s authentic and flavorful. Generous in size, too. It won’t keep well, though, so come hungry or share with a pal. It might be best enjoyed take-out.

How Much: $6.75

I LOVE GRANATO’s!!!!!!!!!!!! My favorite sandwich is the Muffaletta…it’s just delish. They also have a wonderful market full of imports from Europe as well as their own homemade pasta’s and sauce. My favorite is their smoked mozzarella ravioli.

at first glance that picture looks like something from KATZ’s in on the lower east side of manhattan…obviously a bit different, but with the same feel. love it.

i’m telling ya, i need to move further north so i can hit up these places for lunch. With salami in it, my husband is a sure fan. :)
