Go Greek: The big fat Greek Festival starts today and continues through Sunday. Whipped up by Salt Lake’s Greek community, the Mediterranean spread includes souvlaki, dolmathes, spanakopita and lots of other delicacies whose names we can’t pronounce but which we are happy to sample. More info here.

Stroll Up: Treat yourself to pleasant weather and cool artwork by trolling the Provo Gallery Stroll, on tomorrow night (Friday). Hosting merchants include Maestro’s, Mode, Coal Umbrella and more. Watch for details here.
Go International: The BYU College of Humanities starts up its International Cinema repertoire this weekend. If you’re in the greater Provo area, you’ll get to see top-notch films like “The Lives of Others” free of charge in a college environment. All films are shown on campus at the SWKT theater, but showtimes vary. Catch the schedule here.
Hip to the Hop: Fave Salt Lake boutiques Hip & Humble and Koo de Ker host their annual Fabulous Fall Fashion Show this Saturday at 1 p.m. at their 9th and 9th location(s). Aside from the show, you can snatch up jewelry, handbags and accessories at 20 percent off. Plus, there will be “bubbly beverages and big giveaways” to be enjoyed.
Don’t Miss Monet: Nor Picasso. Nor Van Gogh. Salt Lake’s Monet to Picasso exhibit, touted coast to coast (seriously, we spied it in Sky Magazine and saw TV commercials in Cincinnati), is visiting from Cleveland and will only be at the UMFA through September 21.
