All misdemeanors aside, you can find out tomorrow night and next Friday when a new prison in Manti opens it doors for a jail bird sleepover—minus any real inmates. For $15, you’ll get a mugshot, T-shirt, breakfast and a movie. (Any guess what show it might be?) Call (435) 835-2191 for more info.

Tonight is the kick off to the City Weekly Music Awards with shows at Monks (Laserfang, Furs, and Purr Bats) and the Huka Bar (Rotten Musicians and Mindstate). Should be fun.

Okay, so a lot is going on in the Utah cupcake world this weekend!
*The Sweet Tooth Fairy in Provo is having her grand opening tomorrow, January 31 from 11am-7pm.
* Mini’s Gourmet Cupcakes is celebrating their anniversary and is giving out a free cupcake to anyone who comes into their store.
* So Cupcake – 1 year anniversary celebration tomorrow (Jan 31). They are also giving out free cupcakes.

Deer Valley and Park City Mountain Resort have huge ski competitions going on. Tonight there is a concert with Michael Franti and Spearhead. I’m planning on going to PCMR tomorrow at noon for the Superpipe. Then going to DV at night to see the finals of the moguls and then the fireworks.
