Millcreek Cafe

What’ll it be? Omelette? Pancake? Waffle? Breakfast wrap? Breakfast panini? 3300 South’s hoppin’ little breakfast-and-lunch joint called Millcreek Cafe and Eggworks serves it all with quality ingredients and a hint of panache—whether you take ‘em sunny-side up or like ‘em over easy.
We popped in the cafe last week for brunch, and were greeted by nice servers and tasty dishes. Though they’re tough things to mess up, we’re happy to report that both the French Toast ($6.25) and Chicken Caesar Wrap (with fries, $6.75) got an A+.
Breakfast is served all day (’til 2 p.m.) with the lunch menu opening at 11 a.m. Breakfast-types can look forward to dishes like a Breakfast Wrap smothered With Chili Verde ($7.50); a “Millcreek Mound” (includes two eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, ham sausage, and cheese mixed together, with toast, $7.50); Veggie Eggs Benedict ($8.75); or a Fruit and Yogurt Parfait ($3.99).
Now that you’re hungry, we’ll tell you a little about lunch. You can try classics like burgers, wraps, soups, salads and paninis—all fairly priced and served sans-frills.
We like that Millcreek Cafe and Eggworks feels fresh and friendly and perfectly local-centric; a place where shortstacks like us would be happy to become a regular.

Just went there this morning! I like going there once every month or so as well. The food is pretty good and the prices are right on.
